Kensaku Oshiro

Kensaku Oshiro's first collaboration with District Eight began with an unexpected proposal: reduce wood to a single element. ANTENNA builds a coat stand, wall hook, and stool from one 70mm solid oak cylinder, with cast metal arms hand-welded and finished in Sài Gòn. A new register in the brand's material language.

Based in Milan, Japanese designer Kensaku Oshiro balances industrial precision with poetic form. Following his graduation from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in 1999, he refined his expertise alongside leading design studios across Milan and London before founding his eponymous practice in 2015.
